Voice Over Recording Service - Policies
 
Confirmed Script
This is the final script confirmed by the Client for the Voice Artist to record. It is the responsibility of the client to advise on any questionable pronunciations, words, phrases or acronyms prior to us recording the Confirmed Script. Clarifications can be provided in the form of a reference audio file and / or further iteration within the script. 

If applicable, along with the Confirmed Script, the Client should also advise of any technical specifications surrounding the final delivery of the recording(s) including: 

  • Sampling Rate.
  • Bit Rate.
  • File Format.
  • Encoding Format.
Commercials 
A Commercial is a recorded advertisement for broadcast. Commercials typically run for 15, 30 or 60 seconds.
 
Sweepers, Liners & Tags
Typically run for 15 seconds or less.
 
Narrative Scripts
Are generally greater than 60 seconds in length. Narrative Scripts are common for projects that include informative videos, web sites, multi-media and telephone on hold messages. Our rates are based on the finished recorded length, without any further editing.
 
Production Service
Extra work undertaken by us in addition to the Voice Over recording. This service can include everything from simple editing, to more advanced techniques such as producing an advertisement or adding suitable music. This service is quoted on a 'per job' basis.
 
Re-Takes
A ‘Re-Take’ is when the client doesn't like the way the Voice Artist(s) have read (delivered) the recording. We do not charge for Re-Takes providing the Confirmed Script remains the same. If the Client is not happy with the recorded Content, the Supplier will Re-Take it for FREE (up to 1 [one] time) providing the Confirmed Script remains the same.
 
Urgent Orders
If your order is super urgent, do let us know. We can advise on which Voice Artist can accommodate your needs in a timely manner. 
 
Revisions
When the client changes the Confirmed Script after it has been recorded. Re-recording charges are applicable for Revisions in addition to the Agreed Charge.
 
Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not happy with the final recording, we will Re-Take it for FREE, providing the Confirmed Script remains the same.
 
Different Voice Artist(s) & Artist Availability
As we are dealing with people and not machines, we make no guarantee that any listed Voice Artist will be available to meet your exact recording or delivery schedule. We do how however only list artists that are readily available and competent to work within diverse recording demands. If the Client chooses a different Voice Artist(s) to record the Confirmed Script after the Content has been recorded using the clients originally chosen Voice Artist(s), then Re-recording charges would be applicable in addition to the Agreed Charge.
